About the Book Medical school can be challenging and lonely. However, sometimes all it takes to persevere are the encouraging words of friends, mentors, or most importantly - ourselves. Since 2014, Georgetown University School of Medicine's Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging has engaged in community-building initiatives promoting inclusivity and wellness, resulting in powerful narratives of students persevering through challenges and realizing they're not alone.
