Often, we put so much effort into minimizing or alleviating our pain that we fail to see the relevancy of it. One might question that there is nothing beautiful about pain, and they would be absolutely right, but this book talks about beauty as a result of pain or painful situations. One might also say that there's no purpose to pain, and that is where we would disagree. After reading this book, my desire is that you view pain and suffering in a whole different light. I pray that you will be able to identify with the characters, and find your own purpose, while rejoicing in your pain knowing that beauty lies at the end of it like hidden treasure.
