Russell Tolliver is an accomplished author who has found himself with a bad case of writer's block. Needing to move away from the hustle and bustle of Boston, Russell and his family- his wife Marie and young son Sam- move to the picturesque town of Isolation in northern New Hampshire. Four friends- Russell, his neighbors Tom and Mitchell, and an old town historian named Bryce- take it upon themselves to discover what this monster that is lurking around town is, why it is destroying the small town one mutilated body at a time and most importantly, how to stop it and save their home.

Uncovering the horrors of history, these men battle their own demons in an attempt to save their futures.
