Author Biography

Richard L. Knowlton is retired CEO of Hormel Foods Corporation, a multinational manufacturer and marketer of consumer-branded meat and food products, and present chairman of The Hormel Foundation. A director of the Horatio Alger Association, he has also served as that organization's president and chairman. His past and present directorships include Mayo Clinic, US Bank, ING of America, Eisenhower Hospital and the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
