Two sisters, Gail and Linda, have been estranged for over five years, only staying in touch through phone calls. Their lives have taken different paths, with Gail returning home due to her boyfriend Derrick's legal troubles and Linda coming back because their father is in the hospital. Lori is frustrated with his stinginess and considers leaving him if he doesn't change. The story raises questions about whether these men will change their ways and if the women will decide to leave them.
