Katherine has a PhD in the history of psychiatry and sexuality from the University of Cambridge. Her research into "female sexual dysfunction," American psychiatry, sexology, and feminism has been published in journals including History of the Human Sciences, Studies in Gender and Sexuality and Current Opinion in Psychiatry.
